&lt;p&gt;I used to do these, but they seem to have fallen out of favour, however did see one post op, done a few months ago in a French Bulldog. Is there any evidence that they actually help? They were used in the day when we didn&amp;#39;t really understand the allergic component. &lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;Technically they aren&amp;#39;t difficult, in the department of &amp;#39;brutelectomy&amp;#39; akin to removing half of a vertical drainpipe and far easier than a TECA&lt;/p&gt;

So as you said, cortisone (topical cortavance 4-5 drops dropped in by syringe sid when clinical signs present) or the dexamethazone/ epi otic mix once or twice a week with dry wipes in between. No treats containing colouring/ flavours/ processing&amp;nbsp;&lt;/p&gt;
