I may have posted this on the general forum too but can not see it

Looking at the picture the rbc were easier to identify on the slide. The lymphocytes are much larger than the rbc.
Have put cat on preds as realistic option and has responded well so far. Has FeLV testing been done? I would definitely worry about FeLV in a cat this young with these blood changes, my understanding is that if it's a leukaemic lymphoma associated with retroviral infection the prognosis would likely be hopeless and euthanasia would be indicated if the cat is unwell.

RE: What has caused this Millary dermatitis and soft tail nodules

Update. Decision made to investigate futher . Pre op bloods pcv 20% ; wbc take a guess .........................192 x 10^9/L Lymphocytes 94 x10^9/L Neutrophils 68 x10^9/L, Eosinophils 7.5 x10^9/L Blood film large lymphocytes. Not often the buffy coat is nearly as deep as the pcv. Owner has limited funds and I have advised pursuing chemotherapy at an affordable level is probably not going to give a good long term out come .

As Alasdair has said, it won't be a fungal infection causing nodules like this, it is very unlikely in the UK.
