Incompletely closed or similar. We have been using this uneventfully for the last month and received the recall information this morning.

I believe if there was reason to we would have been advised.

NVS have been very good at recalling stock and ours all went back last week I think

RE: Anesketin Recall

Last months ops were with the same batch and everything was uneventful, as have been those done so far this month.

Not been overly impressed with the efforts to communicate a problem.

Decra have nothing obvious on their site. Our wholesaler says an email was sent on the 6th January but not a trace on our system.

We found out because our head nurse found it on another website!

RE: Anesketin Recall

My understanding (and I may be wrong so don't quote me on it) was a concern over the seal of the vials meaning they may not be sterile. I therefore figured that if they weren't sterile and there was a contaminant then I'd have likely seen the effects by now (all my ops I used it for are signed off as recovered) so I was going to let sleeping cats lie ... Not sure of the correct answer though!!
