&lt;p&gt;Nictitans gland is about 30-40% of the aqueous component so Optimmune or tacrolimus may still help. But the long standing nature of the dry eye and readings of 0 suggest that not much functional gland tissue remains so there may not be any improvement in this.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/p&gt;
