I have inherited it and unfortunately they have managed to see several different vets in the practice.

Thank you for your kind comment. And I did think it odd that I couldn’t reply - going on a tangent was the only option I had.

RE: High blood pressure in a medicine case

claire godfrey Tagging you in case you didn't see this.

Kathryn Garven Not a vet, so not qualified to comment on clinical aspect of your post, but almost your maiden one, and what a fantastic helpful post to kick off with.

In fact, it all confused me a bit, because I saw the post had not been replied to, read 'high blood pressure', thought 'cardiology', so emailed all cardiologists (inc you) to see if anyone could help.

Couldn't understand why you'd replied as a tangent (though was glad you did!), until I went back to check the permissions for that forum and realised that it was posted in the medicine forum, where until now only medics could post.

So ... what to do ...

Currently only referral cardioloists can reply to posts in the cardiology forum and medics in the medicine expert forum.

However, I think (do tell me if I am wrong here), that there is probably a bit of crossover between cardiology and medicine, so I have now set the those forums to allow posts from either discipline.

I am going to repost your answer there, and then invite medics to say if they would like to add anything.

Does that sound OK?

If so, I will delete this thread later.
