ACTH Stim test

Pre cortisol 133 (25-125)

Post cortisol 643 (125-520)

Has started treatment for cushings.

I'd be intrigued to know the outcome if you've had results yet? With having been collapsed but with a hr of 60, and low USG, I'd have Addison's on the list.

Interesting to see what results show. I have found liver enzymes poorly predictive for cushings (hyposthenuria being .ore common?)

So just to update, client decided they wanted their equine vet to put the dog to sleep. Equine vet has said she thinks it is cushings. Came in for a Acth stim today will update when I have the results.

ALKP and ALT were completely normal on bloods. Will see what the results are.

Just wanting some advice wasn't missing something obvious. Saw the dog back today, unfortunately no improvement in clinical signs on ACEi. Gave owner option of referral or pts as dog is really depressed, no quality of life. Owner has elected for pts.

Thank you for helping confirm this was not going to be a good outcome.
