I want to add dexamethasone to Epiotic ear cleaner for a chronic otitis externa dog.
Already on Prednisone which helps but feel this is needed as well.
Presumed underlying atopic dermatitis.
I need to know the amount of dexamethasone to add

RE: Otitis, dexamethasone and Epiotic ear cleaner

Ok thanks.
What dose of prenisolone is the dog on, and what did you see in the last cytology? I'd be cautious about adding the Dexamethasone if already on steroids as will be rapidly absorbed. Have you considered the use of Cortavance sprayed into the ear canals?
