Does anyone have the 'Blackwells 5 Minute Veterinary Consult: Ruminant' or 'Colour Atlas of Diseases and Disorders of Cattle' by Blowey and Weaver and if so are they useful? Am looking for something general

Re: Farm Animal Textbook

I have the "Large animal internal medicine" -Bradford Smith- 4th edition. Its a fairly hefty book, both in weight and in price. It covers ruminants and horses also. There is quite a lot of detail in it, good for reference, probably not something you'll look up as a quick reference though like the 5 minute vet consult. Its the best large animal medicine I've come across so far, the information is relevant as it was only updated about 2 years ago.

Re: Farm Animal Textbook

There is a new edition of the Blowey and Weaver book. I, too, have the older one and it's almost good enough.

Also good are "Farm Animal Surgery" by Fubini and Clark, "Current Therapy in Large Animal Practice" (american bias but still good) "Bovine Medicine" and I don't think you can go wrong with "Veterinary Medicine" by Blood, Radostits and Gay. If it's not in that book it doesn't exist lol.

Re: Farm Animal Textbook

http://rapidshare.com/files/164777752/Col_Atl_Diseas_Disord_Catt.rar
