&lt;p&gt;I wouldn&amp;#39;t be jumping into surgery based on these rads.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;Without a culture (which I would recommend) I would put this rabbit onto parental penicillin for a month Plus meloxicam.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;Do you have chest rads also? Bloods?&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;I would want evidence from advanced imaging (CT) before I reached for the scalpel in this case.&lt;/p&gt;
