&lt;p&gt;Apologies for the delay in answering - I suspect there is limited evidence around this but I can tell you what I do!&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;I share your concerns that the presence of concurrent GI disease could increase our risk of adverse effects of NSAIDs - so if I need something of that nature I would tend to reach for paracetamol in the first instance.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;I do tend to use NSAIDs in FLUTD as long as not obstructive.&lt;/p&gt;
