So far it is great. I can’t claim to be the best songrapher, but the images are so much better than our old machine, it’s encouraging us to use it more. And one of our young vets is really keen to do more imaging so I’m happy to pass the buck to be honest! It’s a lovely compact machine too compared to the old one.

Apologies I didn't see your response here Dinu Catilina I much prefer the X5V to the S9 - Although the S9 has multiple probe ports it just doesn't measure up and is very noisy!

I’m very pleased to read this Camilla, as we have just ordered one! I think you had a previous review of it which I read, and we have had it on trial for a week. We are getting a phased array probe in addition to the microconvex in the hope that we can start doing better cardiac echo exams. It seemed a good option for us as we are equine/small animal and therefore can get tendon and rectal probes for the equine work which makes it a multipurpose machine.
