We seem to have a reasonable number with Von Willebrand type predisposition so used as a precaution. I haven&amp;rsquo;t done so as yet but have had a castrate bleed ++ after surgery (did usual open procedure). One tested high, one low - high one speyed, intact. 3 cats all tested high, 2 young ones - left ovary retained (I did surgery on both, new grad &amp;lsquo;speyed&amp;rsquo; rescue kittens 1 year previously). 3rd cat older, suspected oestrogen hormone from female menopausal owner supplementation affecting cat - high AHH level, retained cancerous ovary.
