Your money really is far better spent on a really good behaviourist! Yappy dogs can have their behavior sorted with the right advice - and is far more reliable than the OTC meds. Lots of good behaviourists are doing virtual consulting these days if necessary - or you should be able to find someone near to you.

Look for someone on the APBC list - they're not cheap, but they are effective! https://www.apbc.org.uk/

Good luck - and take care.

RE: sedatives for 2 terriers

Ongoing permanent basis. Small energetic terriers are bored easily. Take long walks, with lots of breaks to let them sniff every leaf, every branch, everything that's interesting to them. Brain work tires them out. Don't go for distance, go for interesting. Been walking along the "usual path" for ages? Try a new route with new smells.

Credit to a brilliant animal care trainer named Adrian Hudson, who gave me this advice.
