The dog is a 12yo JRT. Had a lump present on LF for a while, but it was quite small. However in the last few weeks it has dramatically increased in size, he is licking it and the surface

RE: Large MCT on dog's foot

We use chlorphenamine and famotidine over here!

RE: Large MCT on dog's foot

Thanks again for such a speedy reply. After 2-4 weeks or more (as long as it is shrinking), I would have my surgeons decide what sort of surgery is required; hopefully not amputation!

Generally I use oral chlorambucil (4mg/m2 EOD), along with an H1 & H2 blocker at standard doses, and low dose anti-inflammatory pred (1/2mg/kg SID).

Hope this helps!
