Its something I&amp;#39;ve not tended to use in pancreatitis but seen it used often.

There are various hypotheses as to why enzymes might be indicated including reduction of pain (thought to be due to a negative feedback response) or because there may be transient exocrine insufficiency with this disease. But, I&amp;rsquo;m not aware of anything more than anecdote supporting the use and they are not something I use for this purpose.&amp;nbsp;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;/p&gt;
