 I&amp;#39;ve been told that the lid has a drying agent and that they degrade in normal containers. As a result cannot split pots

&lt;p&gt;I&amp;#39;ve not heard that before, but it turns out the data sheet says this:&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;&lt;span&gt;Do not store above 25 &amp;deg;C. Store in the original container. Keep the container tightly closed to protect from moisture.
