Assuming talking about Merial's Oncept, do you not just need to get an SIC from the VMD? I think any vet can apply for an SIC from VMD?

MerlinVet have it listed with a price on their imports list though I can't say I've ever applied for an SIC (I just checked, it is listed on drop down menu) or tried to order it with one myself, but if you are looking it ( Anthony ) I would phone MerlinVet directly and ask them - they're very helpful.
as with a complete excision we would be more concerned about potential metastasis rather then recurrent local disease.
Last melanoma I removed from a lip didn't recur locally, but eventually in submandibular LN on contralateral side I think it was. I have become more inclined just to remove draining lymph nodes (assuming easily accessible) from potentially nasty tumours at time of surgery. If clearly lateralised on a lip, would removing ipselateral submandibular lymph node be potentially worthwhile irrespective of whether FNA showed signs of metastasis to it or not?
