Team is split between pre med with buprecare and sedator, induction with alfaxan or triple (buprecare+sedator+ketamine). Maintenance in both cases with sevo.

What you have to remember is that rabbits are prey species. This means that outward illness is hidden so even a young outwardly healthy rabbit may have some serious issues.

I have used lots of protocols and spoken to countless people all over the world at conferences and through emails.

So triple gives good anaesthesia, I use low dose triple to sedate and then servo induction. Or methadone with servo induction.

Alfaxalone is licensed but watch for the apnoea. If tubing then its not so m much of a problem.

When I first started doing exotics I spent countless hours on VIN looking for peoples preferences. In The US I got the impression that they doint like to inject much in the way of cardio depressive drugs at all so go for opioids and gas.

Make sure you are giving fluids

A bit nebulous but hope that gets you started. Sorry for the late reply for some reason there wasn't a reply option earlier
