I've just seen a dog with presumed canine papilloma lesions on its lips and tongue. Some of the lesions are nearly 3cm across and starting bleed when the dog eats. Lesions were present when rescued 9 months ago. The dog doesn't actually appear

RE: Canine papilloma lesions

Hi. No update unfortunately. The owner decided not to spend any money on the dog. Can we have an update on the papillomata now, and what is the breed and age of the dog. Some success has been claimed for autogenous vaccines in the past, but as most viral papillomata resolve spontaneously, proving a therapeutic success is difficult.
