&lt;p&gt;I agree your bloods are consistent with primary hyperparathyroidism. Interestingly many dogs with this disease will be clinically normal or only mildly impacted but generally treatment is suggested due to the potential for long-term complications (calcification of the tissues amongst others). So it may in fact be the best time to try to treat.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;And I agree we opt for US of the parathyroid glands first hoping this gives us one gland to go after with surgery. Other ablation techniques also described but not common place in the UK.&lt;/p&gt;
