It was a single adult rat, recently acquired, with pinnal margin sores that were a bit crusty. I suspect it was pruritic also.

0.2-0.4mg/kg ivermectin injections every 2 weeks for 3 doses often works well. You also have the added bonus of monitoring improvements/ issues with seeing the patient back. It would be worth noting that there is often an underlying immunosuppression that has lead to the parasite problem that should be investigated.

I didn't see exotics option when I posted, but yes that porbably best.

EDIT - found it (I was looking under subsection small animal whereas is a separate section before click small animal - quite reasonably, I jsut didn't look there for it).

I'll not post a second time as will give two separate threads, but if you can redesignate a thread post-posting then could move to exotics?
