Hair has been shaved for examination. Not reported to be pruritic.

&lt;p&gt;My last suspected cowpox case did turn out to be mycobacterial disease.  &lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;Had been a number of ticks competently removed by a vet the week previously from this area.&lt;/p&gt;
