Thank you Kate, that hs been very informative from the Pub-Med site. "A new epilepsy syndrome has been identified." Very informative article indeed. Birmans most commonly, a mean age of 15 years.And a lot more info. besides. Thank you.

There is a very good video of a FARS cat on the Veterinary Neurology webpage that was shown on a CPD about rare epilepsy conditions. It was recorded by toe owner to prove the specialist her cat was twitching after hearing certain noises.

So I brought up the ICatCare page and copied the bit in the address bar (if that is the url (what does that stand for?) and it wouldn’t let me paste it- usually if I press and hold the cursor on my one (iPhone 7 I think it is) it will come up with the option of paste but it wouldn’t do it. Did previously allow. Sorry am not the best person to talk techno stuff too )

what, icatcare.org? Not sure I quite understand, but are you talking about that particular link (which would need the www. to be recognised as a link). Or did you try and paste a more specific url? This one: https://icatcare.org/advice/feline-audiogenic-reflex-seizures-fars/?! If so, it is hard to know what is happening without much more precise details (ie I am on an iPhone 8, copied the url from the address bar in browser and pasted into forum post and it did not appear, for example).

I have seen a couple of cases, no different really to flashing lights triggering seizures. Not sure if Mark Lowrie is still checking this site but he would be the person to contact if you wanted more information.
