No symptoms at all to suggest any ill effects.
I have seen many rubber bands go through uneventfully but this is wider! It should not bunch up

RE: Cat eaten a Help for Heroes wrist band!

We did chat to one of the local specialists and there was agreement with the wait and see approach.

RE: Cat eaten a Help for Heroes wrist band!
I have seen many rubber bands go through uneventfully but this is wider! It should not bunch up to form a ball but I don't know if the material changes in consistency (especially hardens) within the intestinal tract.
I would agree with leaving well alone, but making very sure the owners know to come back straight away at the first signs of a problem. I would have some concern about it forming a linear foreign body, but it's probably not long enough.

RE: Cat eaten a Help for Heroes wrist band!

Has vomited up part of the band.
