I finally became brave enough to do one of these recently. Seems to be doing OK. Graft has taken OK and been in for 3 weeks now.......how long do people leave these before cutting the pedicle please?
Many thanks

If it is brachycephalic I don't cut them as they can re-ulcerate with disastrous consequences. Otherwise I tend to cut them at 6-8 weeks post surgery assuming it has healed as planned

Best wishes
