 Recovered well and no concerns re failure of surgery but profuse watery diarrhoea hourly.

&lt;p&gt;That often has a better long-term prognosis so hopefully things will settle down relatively quickly.&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;As above highly digestible GI diet reasonable in first instance but if little ileum then malabsorption of bile acids (+/- vitamins) can be an issue so sometimes use cholestyramine.&lt;/p&gt;
