Under sedation we learnt her ears drums are ruptured. A good diet trial has been performed and no response. I have started cytopoint and she is less itchy and licking feet less.

However, being a fungus, does Malassezia not thrive best in damp donditions? The data sheet for humans mentions it is particularly useful for otitis externa and middle ear infections.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;I think there may be a genetic test for Bedlingtons re risk of hepatopathy if considering systemic azole.&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;Our son had ear drums torn for 19 years. They never healed and it is only now that they have been surgically patched that they will hopefully remain so. My understanding from an ENT surgeon friend is that many simply don&amp;#39;t heal. So how can we expect a dogs to fix and I was going to ask, how many dogs ear drums do actually heal&lt;/p&gt;
