Due to his age and the recurrence, he was referred (insured) to Liverpool, who did an mri and various other investigations. Their conclusion was idiopathic hypertension and they sent him home on fortekor, which significantly seemed to reduce the incidents of the episodes. N=1 but it sticks in my mind!
