If recurs often, might have to look at removing them surgically as you would for a dog. &lt;p&gt;Wow....bet that was pungent.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;I haven&amp;#39;t seen anal gland issues in ferrets tbh.&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;In a case like this I&amp;#39;d probably do a faecal exam just to rule out parasites, and then check the area again under general anaesthesia. If they are impacted without an obvious reason maybe do a culture?&lt;/p&gt;&lt;div style="clear:both;"&gt;&lt;/div&gt;</description></item></channel></rss>
