The bird has been medicated daily for ca 6 weeks. Fracture healing should be complete by 3-4 weeks so is there a complication preventing release? Can this bird fly now?</p> <p>Sparrowhawks are massively stressy birds and any handling will cause distress. I tend to medicate them in food and leave them alone as much as possible.
