On perusing the website, I was surprised to find the following "sample questions" still available (and apparently "updated" in 2018!):

Clock maybe, but then watches (or a clock outside of the theatre through a window) work equally well.

I might go for "mobile lamps" assuming this to mean a mobile light source, though again fixed strip lighting and a head torch is a viable alternative.

RE: Nurse training - city and guilds
but as they are hopefully finally on their way out
Why? I don't see anything specifically wrong with the questions?

I think a clock is essential in an operating theatre.

You can't see lung parenchyma with ultrasound as full of air unless diseased

You know they mean lungworm and the answer is slug

I'm guessing 'stocking on' is defined in a nursing textbook somewhere, and I bet the person who wrote the chapter wrote the question

I'm sad but I love these MCQ questions. Like a sober pub quiz

RE: Nurse training - city and guilds

The "correct" answer to 23 is probably the Mayo table, but the truthful answer would be "none of these is essential"

Well done with 27, I have no clue as to what these are. What is a "nursing ability model" and does it matter?

Like many (all?) multiple choice exams, the candidate is supposed to choose the answers they guess the examiners want, not the real or truthful answers.

I know what I mean by "stocking on" but I doubt if it would have any place in a nursing exam.
