Thanks, Mark. The bird is still feeding, fortunately. And she has outwardly improved a little since we started correcting Baytril deficiency, together with the warm-dark-quiet treatment.

Faecal aspergillus is not of significance - it a common environmental fungus and happily grows in faeces so is often found as a contaminant. Respiratory aspergillosis is the pathogenic form and would not be picked up on this screening. Chlamydia psittaci is prone to throwing false positives, particularly if faeces from a protracted period (typically 5d) are not pooled for submission so be cautious of tkaing the negative as absolute.

I think you're right that more work is needed and unfortunately it will be best done under GA.
