I am glad that the 'magic wand' didn't mean laser!

[/quote]Depends on the type of laser. CO2 laser ablation is very useful for some pododermatitis cases. Paper here:

Pathogenesis of canine interdigital palmar and plantar comedones and follicular cysts, and their response to laser surgery

DD Duclos, AM Hargis, PW Hanley - Veterinary dermatology, 2008.

I note Edinburgh Uni have one specifically for this, as do Peter Forsyth and Hilary Jackson in Glasgow. We got one in 2008 and have used it extensively for pododermatitis and also to perform fusion podoplasties when necessary. Hope this is useful.

RE: "magic wand" for chronic interdigital cysts in a Doberman

Thank you everyone.
He has malaseb for his feet.

Serology testing was used as O wanted to try immunotherapy... rather than to "diagnose". I also don't use serology for food allergies...though we have been told it may be useful in selecting a novel protein..though I tend to use hydrolysed diets.

His feet don't look moist/inflammed/oozy. I think to re-culture I would have to biopsy and send the tissue for culture to get anything meaningful.
