 9 year old terrier cross, had severe IBD with secondary hypoalbuminaemia. &lt;p&gt;My question would be, is it likely to help? My understanding is that iron deficiency doesn&amp;#39;t really happen in dogs unless they have external blood loss. I know inflammation can reduce the availability of iron reserves, but would supplementation be helpful, or would it just increase the amount of iron the bone marrow can&amp;#39;t use?&lt;/p&gt;&lt;div style="clear:both;"&gt;&lt;/div&gt;</description></item></channel></rss>
