The main issue is trying to find a way to improve general handling

RE: Improvac or Regumate use in stallions

i use it on some cryptorchid stallions when surgery is not an option, they become like a gelding.

i also use it on a lot of mares for behaviour issues when they are in season.

it has always worn off when stop annual booster and mares have then bred normally,so would expect same with a stallion.

worth noting that primary course is 2 doses 4 weeks apart-there is no effect at all until after 2nd dose.

RE: Improvac or Regumate use in stallions

I have not used Regumate in a stallion, but I have used a Suprelorin 9.4mg (Deslorelin) implant in a "mare-ish" mare, with good results. It should cause temporary atrophy of the gonads in a male.

EGZAC (EAZA Group on Zoo Animal Contraception) may have data on use of Deslorelin in wild equids, which would be relevant. They have a forum and a website.

I hope this helps,
