i use it on some cryptorchid stallions when surgery is not an option,they become like a gelding.

i also use it on a lot of mares for behaviour issues when they are in season.

it has always worn off when stop annual booster and mares have then bred normally,so would expect same with a stallion.

worth noting that primary course is 2 doses 4 weeks apart-there is no effect at all until after 2nd dose.

I have not used Regumate in a stallion, but I have used a Suprelorin 9.4mg (Deslorelin) implant in a "mare-ish" mare, with good results. It should cause temporary atrophy of the gonads in a male.

EGZAC (EAZA Group on Zoo Animal Contraception) may have data on use of Deslorelin in wild equids, which would be relevant. They have a forum and a website.

I have used it in an zebra stallion showing aggression to the mares previously, but it didn't appear to help,

I'm afraid I haven't personally, but there really are very few equine vets on here - you might be better trying the Veterinary Voices Equine group on FB or the EVG email list.
