I don't know. Is there any evidence that topical use of Polymyxin B in cats and dogs contributes to antibiotic resistance in humans?

What would your choice be?

The same argument could be applied to many other topical ear medications, such as Aurizon with its fluoroquinolone content. One could exclude pretty much all of them I guess?

I prefer, certainly in refractory cases, to take swabs for C&S to try and use the most appropriate antibiotic.
