We used the LDS ones and they were brilliant - made splenectomies so quick, though occasionally we did get a dodgy one which didn't work so well. Unfortunately as somebody else mentioned they don't seem to be available any more and we haven't managed to find a suitable alternative.

RE: Iigation clips

Titanium so no issue with mri as far as I know

RE: Iigation clips

Does this mean an MRI is contraindicated in the future?

RE: Iigation clips

They were brilliant but are off the market now permanently. Autosuture LDS. Always loved teh noise they made when firing off. We cauterise now since we have the gear. If I didn't I'd consider the VetDirect Weck staplers - very cost effective - for relatively smaller vessels I think...

RE: Iigation clips

Used to use them and they were brilliant , can’t find what they are called to reorder them so will be interested to find out what people are using .

RE: Iigation clips

yes we use them and have for years, are different sizes, each size needs different size applicator, much faster than tying multiple ligatures. Will check make and supplier at work on mondsy.

RE: Iigation clips

I can’t remember the name of it, but I used one which looked like this for vessels <7mm, which was rubbish!
