is there any helpful advice you can give on getting eye drops in in horses. I’ve been putting them in dogs eyes for years but now I’m struggling with my cob . He seems to have eyelids like Arnold Schwarzenegger and I’m not sure if they are going

RE: Help Administration of eye drops in horses
My horse could crack walnuts with his eyelids.
Makes you more sympathetic with poor owner compliance and very impressed by the power of equine orbicularis muscles . It may be easier to admin proxymetacain let it work for a few minutes then apply the topical you want to put in. Not an easy ask in a difficult horse though .

RE: Help Administration of eye drops in horses

No incompetency Claire, getting eye meds into a horse is super difficult.
