If you're brave, or stupid, look at the videos online. It's a pretty crude surgery!

(in through the mouth, forceps, grab, pull, mri post op).

I'm sure it is much more difficult than these people make it seem, and there's a hint of facetiousness to the above

Sorry no but have you contacted Highcroft as Mark posted earlier in the year? Paul Higgs is on the internal medicine side and Nick Grainger the neurosurgical. Appreciate may be quite a drive but they would at least know if there are any nearer options.

Is the PU/PD responsive to DDAVP?

Just to reopen this subject. Has anyone had any experience of canine hypophysectomy case outcomes?

We have a case with a 2cm pituitary mass on CT, patient is PUPD and depressed but it ACTH stim and LDDS are not supportive of hyperadrenocorticism. The patient does not looking Cushingoid in any other respect.

This is a colleagues dog, any advice appreciated!

Highcroft near Bristol are now one of the main centres in the UK offering this. Nicolas Granger is the neurosurgeon involved, he would be able to offer estimates and advice.

RVC are the most experienced in the UK

Bristol have done it in dogs, but not many cats.

Think there's another one down South - possibly North Downs?

I believe that Bristol have done a few but I am not aware of anywhere else.

I am not even sure how many dogs London have done or how many cats they are now doing but i have contacted them to find out and will update when I get an answer

IN the USA Washington State does them but as far as I know nowhere else in the USA
