Pictures are here:

They look like papillomas

RE: Unusual lip masses
But then the original post/gallery entries don't appear at the top of the forums home page so it's not obvious what has been posted or that there is a discussion going on. It's interesting I made the gallery entry and uploaded the pics there but it was the parallel forum post that was replied to, I have a feeling my pics would have been ignored unless I had also done a forum post. If the gallery is going to work (and I like the idea of the title and body text) then it might be better to be more integrated with the forum posts. The way they are at the moment they seem pretty much to be just like forum posts only with pictures which is great, but why not put them with the rest of the forum? (Prob not making myself clear )
Yes, I understand that, which was one of the reasons why I tried breaking forum discussion lists on the forum home page into clinical and non clinical, and then having the latest images showing between the two (ie higher up the page where they would be visible).

But it seemed the majority didn't like the way that pushed non-clinical discussions south.

Hence latest images are now at the foot of the forum home page, which is better than before, but I agree, does not fix the issue.

I think what we need to do is create a list of latest posts which are BOTH gallery posts and forum posts. But that does create some hurdles to overcome.

Anyway, for the time being, what I want to see more than anything is whether everyone is happy with the discussion format in the galleries, which is slightly different to the forums.

So can we keep the actual case discussion going on in the gallery, here: https://www.vetsurgeon.org/veterinary-clinical/small-animal/m/photo-video-media/138054.aspx

to see how that goes, while meanwhile I give more thought to other ways we can integrate.

RE: Unusual lip masses
Hmm - I'm not sure what was going on there.
Yup...
Anyway, fixed now.
Thankyou
Anyway, could we try something ... don't post replies here, but instead post them under the image in the gallery, here:
But then the original post/gallery entries don't appear at the top of the forums home page so it's not obvious what has been posted or that there is a discussion going on.
And I was hugely impressed with the speed at which the pics uploaded, too!

There is definitely oral papilloma virus in the UK and I have seen quite a few in the last few months (more than previously). They are usually more florid in appearance, but I suspect that is the most likely diagnosis. They are likely to self-resolve, so unless they are causing a problem I would leave and monitor for now. If in doubt, biopsy would obviously confirm the diagnosis, but I wouldn't rush into it personally.

RE: Unusual lip masses
P.S. I'm not sure why the pics have come out upside down, but you can see what they look like anyway. Perhaps Arlo Guthrie could see if it's possible to get them the right way up - they are ok on my PC!
Hmm - I'm not sure what was going on there. Did you take the photos on a mobile phone? It may be you were holding the phone upside down?? Anyway, fixed now.

This is a good example of why I am trying to better integrate galleries in the forums (ie displaying latest images within the main forum page, as they are but another type of discussion, really)

Anyway, could we try something ... don't post replies here, but instead post them under the image in the gallery, here: https://www.vetsurgeon.org/veterinary-clinical/small-animal/m/photo-video-media/138054.aspx
