Was it an equine specific lab? Non equine-only labs can often give you slightly odd interpretations. The bottom end of the reference range on ours (I use Rainbow) is 32%, but they often recognise lower &amp;#39;normals&amp;#39; than that. If it were a client&amp;#39;s horse I&amp;#39;d tell them not to worry too much, repeat bloods in a fortnight or so, and I&amp;#39;d almost always run an ACTH on a horse that age, especially this time of year and if they&amp;#39;d been a bit quiet. Short term I usually recommend a couple of weeks on something like Haemoboost/Propell Plus/Red Cell, but often for the owner&amp;#39;s benefit as much as the horse&amp;#39;s!&amp;nbsp;&lt;/p&gt;&lt;div style="clear:both;"&gt;&lt;/div&gt;</description></item></channel></rss>
