Anyone shed any light?

Haven't noted the same trend to increased longevity for dogs though...

Is this a common observation or unique to my experience?

EDIT - posted to wrong thread me thinks - oops :-)

RE: Strange feline case

Is the heart rate slow? Atropine responsive? I've seen organophophate (presumed) in cats seem bit like this, but I think they're banned now? Perhaps consider lesser forms of similar drugs.

Here's a handy list of miosis inducers:

What I meant was the rest of the signs are what I would class as 'normal' for an intoxication and I've seen before but I've never seen such miosis, they usually have myosis in my experience.

RE: Strange feline case

My first thought is why worry specifically about the miosis when there are so many other neuro signs? Maybe it ate some of their 'stash' or they used a dog flea product with permethrin on it.

Incidentally, what do you use as an intralipid?

RE: Strange feline case

?
