I read a paper in JSAP about using this recently. I think it's more regularly used in your part of the world than in the UK but results seems interesting.

RE: Use of MMC in canine ocular tumours

Currently it’s the sole agent.

I love Meloxicam in SCC esp but also in H.sarc. However, cost is an issue here as the MMC drops $80 a week so adding in Meloxicam even a generic to a G. Dane adds a significant hit.

I use Aldara on the H.sarca that are primary in the skin and have had good success with it but the inflammation it causes precluded its use here in an eye.

The other options with H. sarc as again a cost factor- I like Vivitonin as has targeted TNFs, stabilises platelets and increased oxygenation of tissue- Transameic acid which some UK vets are finding of adjuvant use or even Yunnan Bai Yao all options, Thalidomide not an option as young female household so cost for the 0,1,2,4 and not enough info on the third in these scenarios has made me hold off for the moment. However just discussing this with you has made me realise we have some samples of vivitonin and transam acid sitting in drug cupboard so I may just trial some, tx Aine
