&lt;p&gt;Yes there is a recurrent cost and owners should be advised of such - most of the ones I have discussed with owners were happy to try for the first 6months, viewing it as six months they wouldn&amp;#39;t have otherwise and are very hapy to maintain course as is thereafter when otherwise healthy. &lt;p&gt;Dog is a grumpy 14 yo entire male collie cross and seems perianal masses first noticed in 2014 and o declined surgery at that time . They are now multiple ulcerated infected and a challenging and expensive surgical option in an elderly dog. I appreciate your help. Often find that anal adenoma regress after castration and don&amp;#39;t usually touch them.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;I&amp;#39;ve used Tardak which seems to work initially, but becomes less effective over time. Plus it is expensive of course.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;Confused by this. According to literature 95% of anal adenomas resolve with cessation of testosterone i.e. Castration. But maybe you meant either medical tx?&amp;nbsp;&lt;/p&gt;
