Has anyone had any experience of using this in old rats with renal disease? I've found a couple of lab animal papers with doses used in experimentally induced Chronic renal failure but not sure if anyone's used it in pets?

RE: Telmisartan (semintra) in rats with renal disease

Not really relevant but I have it on good authority that it works better in dogs than cats (can't reveal my source I'm afraid but it is someone who was involved in its development) and I bet the rat was used as a model in testing. If the rat is going to die anyway probably worth a shot as long as the clients are aware its very off-licence. Maybe give Boehringer a call?
