 A 6-yr-old FN Springer came in for her 6 week post TTA Sx post op check. 
 Her owner reported signs of pupd, her urine SG was 1.012, and microscopy bacteria, wbc, no crystals or casts, I put her on amox-clav. 
 She came back in 5days later for</description><dc:language>en-US</dc:language><generator>Telligent Community 10</generator><item><title>RE: urine cytology help needed!</title><link>https://www.vetsurgeon.org/thread/196111?ContentTypeID=1</link><pubDate>Sat, 21 Apr 2018 22:18:05 GMT</pubDate><guid isPermaLink="false">146601cc-3922-4be7-9974-7e1d4e45a66b:46cb2265-abea-4224-9326-b89866c8c377</guid><dc:creator>Liz Barton</dc:creator><description>&lt;p&gt;Hi Avril, I would say these look like mixed inflammatory cells with and a few epithelial cells (top and bottom pictures). &amp;nbsp;There does seem to be a few red cells too, even through dipstick was clear. &amp;nbsp;I do sometimes wonder if aged &amp;#39;ghost&amp;#39; red cells don&amp;#39;t show on a dipstick. &amp;nbsp;There are a few irregularities in the cells, but I suspect this is reactivity while UTI is healing. &amp;nbsp;Personally, I would repeat a sediment exam after the full course of antibiotics to allow the bladder time to heal and clear. &amp;nbsp;If any abnormalities are still present, then scan the bladder.&lt;/p&gt;&lt;div style="clear:both;"&gt;&lt;/div&gt;</description></item></channel></rss>
