NVS sell them in twins. To be honest I see more of the twins than singles, so didn't think it was an issue

In regards the packaging being similar, the only difference seems to be a 2 in the top left and it does make life tricky

We have all our bravecto in singles - it does spread the cost a bit. However they have occasionally come in twos before which caused a bit of confusion at the time.

We order 2 packs of all sizes of Bravecto chews from Henry Schein.

Just looked on the NVS site and all pill sizes are available in 2 packs but they don't have the 4's. When I last bought them specifically for a dog with Demodex (we don't stock them routinely) AFAIA they were only available in 2's, singles make it a lot more affordable.

Sorry to be persistent, but I can find nowhere that sells bravecto in a pack of 2 tablets. We sell a lot of bravecto... a 2 pack would be handy... are you sure?

Clients balk at the cost but once you point out the pack lasts 6 months for the other parasites as well they're OK with it.

Bravecto's now licensed for mites in Australia, not massively helpful for UK but it does have it on license somewhere in the world!

I would suggest that you may be over-doing it, I've treated a couple of dogs for demodex with Bravecto and a single tablet was enough to eliminate the mites, next dose given in 3 months as per the data sheet for flea and tick prevention.

I'm a stickler for the cascade. I believe very strongly that the rules are there an we should follow them (however illogical they may be). Saying that, a dog with skin disease needs to be on top of fleas. Even I'd be happy with Bravecto/Nexgard in this dog, knowing the demodex will be dealt with incidentally.

After a recommendation from a respected Dermatologist we’ve moved from weekly Adocate/Prinovox to weekly Nexgard with outstanding results in probably 8/8 cases.

It's a sad day when educated, responsible highly trained professionals are scared to use a safe product [it's not as if you are using it in a falcon!!] for a related, but similar use, because of a bureauocratic "licence"!!

I understand Nexguard is going through licensing at the moment but clearly that might take some time. Seems the whole family of similar tablets can be effective.

Not had a case for some time (but most are on Nexguard anyway!). Anecdote only of course.

I agree, despite the lack of license Bravecto is fantastic for getting rid of demodex.
