In the grand scheme of things probably not too important but Predsol (prednisolone sodium phosphate) < Pred Forte (prednisolone acetate) due to the carrier affecting absorption into the eye.

We have no problems with Maxitrol via Centaur - got some just yesterday. Rarely use Maxidex in patients, but often have it for myself, and no problems getting it from pharmacist, so I doubt a manufacturing issue. Can you just send them to Boots with a prescription?

I've not had issues getting maxitrol with Centaur lately but it was out of stock for a while.

Pred Forte is also available AFAIK

Have you checked the human meds suppliers; munro vet supplies list maxidex in stock. We also use one of the human ophthalmic pharmacies for eye meds
