&lt;p&gt;As a rule these patients perform poorly. Two published case series. Median survival times were 14d and 30d from the date of diagnosis.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;My own experience is different. we can manage some of these cases relatively well but they are difficult to manage because the bowel is messed up and this has consequences for systemic health.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;A further reason that they don&amp;#39;t do well under the care of normal vets and even normal oncologists is that they are often treated with COP or CHOP and they rarely are responsive to these medications.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;There isn&amp;#39;t a stock answer to the &amp;#39;how do you treat them&amp;#39; question. They will need supportive care that meets their individual needs. Your best bet for initial medical therapy would be a combination of L-asparaginase and cytosine arabinoside in my opinion. Once they are in an improved state of systemic health, a medium to long term cytotoxic therapy can be implemented according to analysis of the lymphoma subtype.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;Short version: symptomatic care often your best bet&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;appearance was of 3 areas 3cm-5cm in length each within the jejunum which were clearly abnormal with red, dilated appearance. Single full thickenss biopsy from middle of one of these with extensive ulceration and probable lymphoma.&lt;/p&gt;
