She already has equipment for carrying out dental x-rays but would now like to buy a standard x-ray.
She is considering two models and has asked whether anyone

RE: X-Ray machine and developer experiences / comparison

From memory, the Examion and Agfa are both the same processor but with different software. After trialing a few processors we went for the Agfa and have been happy with it. I can't remember, but I think I preferred the software on the second and Celtic SMR threw in more freebies.

RE: X-Ray machine and developer experiences / comparison

We also have an Agfa CR30 X and it's great. We had a CR15-X as a demo but it was a bit more than I really wanted to pay as I near retirement. See if you can get a reconditioned CR30-X which is what we did for less than half the price (£6K fully warrantied) albeit it was from a UK supplier - Celtic SMR. The image quality is exactly the same (i.e. blows your socks off) the disadvantage is that it is a tad heavier and has a bigger footprint but it still sits on the same trolley and you're not going to move it around too much. Even a rival supplier admitted the Agfa machine was the best.
